Wow! I'm really doing this. It may sound silly but I've been thinking about blogging for so long now that it's strange to have taken a simple leap to "just do it!" I'm often meddling in crafting, cooking, gardening and so many other things. My interests are diverse and I always find myself talking about what I've been up to with my family and friends. I hope this will be a way for me to keep up with informing everyone of what I'm doing in a fun and documentable form.
I do have challenges to keeping up with a regular blog so we'll see how this works out. I live in the country in an area that has provided for some very frustrating challenges in getting any kind of reasonable internet service. I don't quite have that figured out yet so I'm guessing, now that I've taken the blog leap, I'll be spending some time in WI-FI hospots like the library. Maybe my internet decisions in the country will be expedited by my desire to blog. I hope so! I also lost my battery awhile back to my favorite camera. Boo. I found it and lost it again...all probably related to my not concentrating on looking for it due to the desire to craft, cook and work in the yard this Spring.
For my first picture here, I'm going to post my step-daughter in the Halloween costume my aunt (she did a great majority of putting it all together!) and I made for her. My aunt is an amazing influence in my life and is mostly responsible for my desire to do the fun things I find joy in. So, here's the Ballerina Jewelry Box costume (yes, taken with my phone and a poor photograph but the real pictures are at home on another camera and I happen to have this one here) from this past Halloween. It's probably a good example of how I tend to go a little overboard when being crafty! It was adorable.
I'll dissect how to make this piece of art some other time. I have "bunny" and slumber party duties to tend to today and over the weekend. Thanks for reading this. I can't imagine anyone would have gotten this far but will be pleased if anyone does! Have a Happy Easter!
